Phase One: Los Alamos Fiber Construction Update
Atomic Fiber construction has not started in Los Alamos yet. Planned construction methods include microtrenching in some areas and underground boring, helping limit the construction footprint.
Meanwhile, LANet fiber is available now within our existing fiber service area, with speeds up to 10 Gbps available at eligible locations. We are continuing to upgrade and complete our own fiber network to bring these speeds throughout that area.
As Atomic Fiber expands into additional areas, LANet will connect customers once the new network is ready for service.
